Strong Women

It's a rare gift to create something special for a dear friend. This was as much a means of therapy for me as it was a family keepsake. Difficult times bring the need for creative outlet and that's what this illustration was for me. I no longer feel the pressure of "doing a good job", but I'll always feel the weight of a commission with family significance.
