Ole' Blue Eyes

The interesting part of this illustration was the planning phase. Having no idea what to suggest as a finished size, my client made at least three attempts before settling on 24"x36". Let me tell you...a two foot by three foot blank space is quite intimidating when one puts pencil to paper. And despite a less-than-ideal reference photo (please, people...no more Facebook photos to illustrators!), I think I managed to create a memorable gift.
